Lenovo has announced new additions to its lineup of business computers: the ThinkPad 10 tablet and line of related accessories.
Alongside their incredible business laptops and desktops, Lenovo has established a reputation for making some of the best Windows-based business tablets. James Kendrick of ZDNet.com makes that point clear by referencing his reviews of earlier Lenovo tablets:
“…ThinkPad 10 is the successor of the ThinkPad Tablet 2, a tablet I found to be the best Windows tablet of its time. It’s thin and light, a requirement for providing a good user experience as a tablet. It’s the bigger sibling of the ThinkPad Tablet 8 which impressed me when I reviewed it.”
ThinkPad 10 is built with the same philosophy as ThinkPad laptops – cram as much computing power as possible into a portable, reliable package.
But what about a keyboard? Lenovo is offering a range of keyboard attachments for ThinkPad 10, including a stiff keyboard that turns the device into an almost-laptop (“ultrabook” in Lenovo’s words) and a soft portfolio keyboard case that is light but equally functional.
