The idea of reducing waste by almost 90 per cent might sound like an impossible task for a company.
But as local office product store Monk Office has shown, sometimes it’s the small things that count.
Under CEO James McKenzie, Monk Office has reduced its waste from two eight-yard garbage bins per week to one six-yard bin every five weeks. That’s the same as going from 5,000 trash cans per year to 600, according to the Capital Regional District, which gave Monk Office the EcoStar Award for waste reduction last week… CLICK HERE TO READ MORE…
