Retail Store Leader
Full-Time / Campbell River, BC

About the role

We are looking for a Store Leader to lead our Campbell River team. The Store Leader is responsible for achieving overall profitability, maintaining a discipline for store operations and providing effective leadership to the retail and supporting teams.

This position is an excellent opportunity to build a strong community base with the Campbell River area for both our commercial and in-store customers.

As a Monk Store Leader you will:

  • Provide amazing customer experiences to help our customers find the products and solutions they need to be productive at work and at home
  • Lead and develop the retail team through training, coaching, managing and scheduling
  • Having a Thirst to Learn continuously through new products, training and bringing your ideas for customer improvements
  • Control inventory levels of product and supplies to meet sales requirements
  • Have a keen eye for merchandising and detail
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge sessions and pass on your knowledge to our customers
  • Participate enthusiastically in driving sales and achieving Monk Office strategic plan

What you bring:

  • An eye for detail and accuracy: follow-up and follow-through are important to you
  • A passionate team player, with a “can-do”, solutions orientated approach
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (including computer experience)
  • High energy and desire to contribute to the business
  • Minimum 2 years progressive management experience in a retail or hospitality environment
  • Furniture knowledge an asset
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

  • Manage multiple customer requests simultaneously

Distribution Center Team Member
Full-Time / Victoria, BC

Monk Office has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Distribution Center (Warehouse) Team Member.

What you will do:

  • Pick and pack orders (Picking)
  • Ship orders (Shipping/Receiving)
  • Work in a warehouse environment
  • General warehouse duties
